The Dash Made Ethos

Dash Made is more than a studio. It’s a creative hideout a launchpad where ideas turn into stories and stories spark change. We provide the sanctuary; you provide the voice.

As a female-led studio, our heart is in inclusion and equity. We are dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices and creating a safe, professional space for the stories that need to be heard. Whether you’re behind the mic for a podcast, an audiobook, or using the stuido for media interview or selftape, you’ll find that Dash Made is more than just tech, it’s a place for genuine connection.

We pair broadcast-quality audio and video with a warm, ego-free atmosphere. We believe that content which truly connects does more than just sound professional, it builds trust and starts the conversations that matter.

Let’s make something that matters.

Dash Made is more than a studio. It’s a space where creativity meets purpose

  • What exactly does Dash Made do?

We’re a boutique creative studio based in Bayside, Melbourne. We specialise in podcast production, branded content, and visual storytelling.

While we are a "safe space" for women-led and purpose-driven projects, we also provide a professional sanctuary for PR agencies needing interview space and actors filming high-quality self-tapes.

Our mission is simple: helping the voices that don’t always get the mic, get heard (and seen).

  • What makes you different from other production houses?

We’re a boutique creative partner, and we lean into the personal.

I built Dash Made after years of navigating the media and corporate worlds, including a five-year stint in Paris as a real-life Mary Poppins.

Those experiences taught me that while gear and tech are important, the real magic happens when people feel truly at ease.

At Dash Made, you work directly with me as your Executive Producer. We’ve traded high-pressure environments for a creative sanctuary that is warm, ego-free, and agile.

Whether it’s having a quiet coffee to ground yourself before a high-stakes interview, or having a supportive partner in the room to help you find your rhythm, we focus on the human behind the mic.

That’s why brands and voices with a strong purpose are drawn to us, because the experience, and the result, feels real.

  • The Dash Made Details

Zero Studio Anxiety: No cold glass booths or intimidating lights. Just a warm, well-lit room designed for conversation.

Bayside Ease: Forget CBD traffic. We have hassle-free, on-street parking right at the door so you can arrive calm and ready.

The "Chief Engagement Officer": You might hear a soft snore from Scout (our resident dachshund), but he’s excellent at keeping the ego out of the room.

The Perfect Pour: We start every session with a proper coffee and a chat and never a rushed "sound check."

  • The Dash Made Promise

We are not here to just 'hit record.' We are here to listen deeply, protect your story, and ensure that when you walk out those doors, you feel as proud of the process as you are of the final product."

She Matters

Proudly produced by Dash Made Studios

She Matters isn’t just a podcast, it’s a movement for justice, truth, and systemic change.

Created by award winning journalist Sherele Moody in collaboration with Dash Made Studios, this powerful series amplifies the voices of families and friends of women and children lost to male violence.

These are not “true crime” stories. They’re stories of love, loss, and the fight for accountability, the stories behind the headlines that too often focus on perpetrators, not the women we’ve lost.

Through raw, honest storytelling, She Matters brings compassion and courage to the national conversation about violence against women and reminds us what’s at stake when the system fails.

🎧 Listen here via Acast and stand with us in remembering their names, honouring their lives, and demanding a safer future, because every woman and child matters.

A Lawyer and a Mediator Walk into a Bar

Proudly Produced by Dash Made Studios

Two women walk into a bar… and start talking about divorce.
(Stay with us, it’s not as bad as it sounds.)

Join family lawyer Paula Applehans and mediator Dianne Loveday as they swap the legal lingo for straight talk about separation, communication, and co-parenting with a side of laughter and a dash of wine.

They’ve seen it all: the messy, the meaningful, and the moments that make you question your sanity and your lawyer. Together, they’ll help you see that separation doesn’t have to mean chaos it can be the start of something clearer, calmer, and maybe even… better.

🎧 Pull up a stool and listen here. You might just leave with a new perspective and fewer legal headaches.

💖 Love Notes from Our Clients 💖

Words from the beautiful humans we’ve had the joy of creating with.

Kim made the whole experience of recording our meditation series such a dream. Her studio feels like a sanctuary, and she has a way of allowing everyone feel completely at ease and relaxed, ready to record. She was so quick to turn the polished recordings around and was so great at suggesting how/what we could to improve the quality of the output. Looking forward to recording the next series with you!

Sally Murchie, Co-owner @ Grass Roots Yoga & Pilates

Working with Kim and Dash Made has been such a positive experience. Kim brings creativity, technical skill, and a deep understanding of people to everything she does. From the very first recording, it was clear she doesn’t just capture audio, she helps shape meaningful conversations and stories that matter.
